Trailer For 'Doctor Who -The Eternity Clock ' Features Game Play Footage

Doctor Who fans can rejoice because the long awaited video game based on the hit show is almost here.  Today Sony released the first trailer featuring game play footage for Doctor Who - The Eternity Clock.  In this we get glimpses of digital Matt Smith and Alex Kingston as The Doctor and River Song.  They also show off the creatures they'll be facing; Cybermen, the Silence, Silurians and the Daleks.

Take the jump to watch the trailer and see some screencaps.

According to the official Sony blog, there was to be a new monster that they decided to cut out.  They did tease that it could appear in a future game.  Which means that they're already looking at creating more in the series.

I do have a question though.  Is it just me or did the game developers Catwoman up River in the game?  I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I did find it interesting.  So far there hasn't been any confirmation if Amy Pond or Rory will be a part of the game as well.

Doctor Who - The Eternity Clock will launch in March on the PS3 and PSVita.  A PC version will be released later in the year.

What say you?
