Super Bowl Ad Is The Closest We'll Get To A 'Ferris Bueller' Sequel

The Super Bowl broadcast is the mecca of television advertising.  Millions of dollars are spent for just a few seconds of ad time.  Over the past few years advertisers have begun releasing many of their commercials via the interwebs to generate "buzz" and get more eyes on their product.  The best example of this was last years Star Wars kid commercial for Volkswagon.

This year another car company is looking for that momentum, and it's also betting on nostalgia from John Hughes fans.  Honda has put Matthew Broderick in an ad that shows him taking the day off and makes us wish for a sequel to Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Take the jump to watch.
