After so many pictures leaked from the set of The Dark Knight Rises last year, the craziness seemed to finally die down. Today some new pictures hit the internet, but they aren't taken through a telephoto lens. In this weeks Entertainment Weekly, Warner Brothers released some new pictures that were published as part of a 7-page article. This is a part of EW's 2012 movie preview.

In the accompanying article *SPOILERS* Nolan reveals that The Dark Knight Rises takes place 8 years after the end of The Dark Knight. Batman is still seen as the bad guy/bat, and Bruce Wayne is trying to fix his personal relationships with Alfred, Lucius and himself.
In the article Nolan addresses audiences having a hard time understanding Bane's dialogue in previews. He tells EW, "I think when people see the film, things will come in to focus."
But the nerd fun doesn't end with Batman.
EW touches base with Joss Whedon to talk about The Avengers. In that interview he revealed some news about the movie. The Avengers will be seen through the eyes of Capt. Steve Rogers/Captain America. "So much of the movie takes place from Steve Rogers' perspective, since he's the guy who just woke up and sees this weird-ass world."
