We want to thank you for some great times in 2011.  Your support has given us one of the best years yet at POParitaville.  We have had the chance to meet, and get to know, many of you.  While the past few weeks have been scarce, know that there are some great things in store for 2012.

Disney Parks To Stay Open 24 Hours For One Day Only

For several days now, Disney has been teasing something known as 'One More Disney Day'.  On Dick Clarke's New Year's Rockin' Eve they revealed what it is.  In celebration of leap year, both the Magic Kingdom in Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim will remain open for 24 hours straight.  You read that right.  24 hours for one day only.

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Hit The Web With Musical Duet

Today the internet has blessed us with a great new years treat.  Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt rekindled their great chemistry from 500 Days of Summer to record Frank Loesser's 'What Are You Doing New Years Eve'.

Don't expect something flashy here.  They have merely taken to recording the duet via webcam; and they have created one of the sweetest and most charming music videos all year.

A Look Back At Comikaze Expo's First Year

I know that this has been incredibly delayed, and I apologize for that.  But before the year ends I wanted to take a look at Los Angeles' newest convention that turned a lot of heads.  Comikaze Expo.  

Comikaze Expo took place at the L.A. Convention Center and brought together fans of comic book, movie, television and gaming from all over.  There was plenty to see, and do, for everyone.  Let's take a look at some of the highlights of the conventions first year.

The One Book Every Disneyland Fan Will Be Talking About

For quite some time now I have been teasing everyone with little blurbs about a book I was working on about my time at Disneyland.  It is finally time to reveal it.  The book is (tentatively) called Confessions of a Jungle Cruise Skipper.  This is about all of the antics that happened while I was there.  These are stories that you will be sharing with your friends and discussing every time you visit the park.

'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' Coming To Universal Studios Hollywood

Dust off your Nimbus 2000 and grab your wand because it looks like Harry Potter is coming to Hollywood.

Since the doors to Hogwarts were opened at Universal Studios Orlando's 'Islands of Adventure' theme park, many fans have wondered if the Potterverse would ever come to Universal Studios Hollywood.  What many didn't know was that when the original Wizarding World was announced, these plans were already being discussed regarding Hollywood.  However, nothing could be said because it had to open in Orlando, and guests had to love it.  

Both of these things have happened.  

Now the Los Angeles Time and the Wall St. Journal are reporting that an announcement will come within the next few weeks that Harry Potter will be headed to Universal Studios Hollywood in 2015.
