Chris Gore Takes On Halloween Horror Nights For POParitaville

Hey everyone!  So as many of you have noticed, POParitaville has been a little quiet.  The past week has been filled with automobile emergencies and falling down stairs.  After nursing some mean injuries to myself and the car, POParitaville will now be getting back in to full swing.  The first order of business is to bring you our report from Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.

On opening night the Eyegore Awards brought out the big names in horror.  From Rob Zombie to Eli Roth.   It's a horror fans wet dream.  Also in attendance were horror lovers of all sorts includinge Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Beiste GLEE), Bridget Marquadt (The Girls Next Door) and Christopher Knight (The Brady Bunch).

This year the awards were once again hosted by Corey Feldman, who tried desperately to make the bad writing work for him.  But when you have Eyegore Award winners like Rainn Wilson and Jamie Kennedy giving speeches it's pretty hard to follow that up.

The highlight of the Eyegore's had to be Bailee Madison (Don't Be Afraid of the Dark).  When she accepted her Eyegore, it was as if she had just won the Oscar.

Chris Gore joined POParitaville to experience Halloween Horror Nights for the first time, and to say that he was excited to see everything would be an understatement.  Check out what went down.

Once again Universal Studios has pulled out all the stops at Halloween Horror Nights.  From having Ghostface from the Scream movies creating havoc on the Terror Tram, to becoming a guest in Eli Roth's Hostel maze, this is another year not to be missed.

Get your tickets in advance at www.halloweenhorrornights.com/hollywood.  With almost every night expected to be a sell out, I highly recommend purchasing a Front of the Line pass or splurging for the VIP Experience.  This will cut down your wait time tremendously for the mazes and attractions.  With the VIP pass, you'll get a VIP Guide for the night and access to the Vampire Blood Lounge.  You can check out the details here

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood runs weekends until October 31st.

A huge thank you to Universal Studios Hollywood for inviting us to join them once again.  It's something our team looks forward to every year.

An even bigger thanks to Chris Gore for being an honorary member of The POP Patrol.  You have no idea how much we appreciate your help.  The next round is on us!
