UPDATED: FIRST LOOK: Anne Hathaway As Catwoman In 'The Dark Knight Rises'

It seems that with so much being leaked from the set of The Dark Knight Rises (here), Warner Brothers decided to beat everyone to the punch with this one.  Hidden on the official website www.thedarkknightrises.com was a link to the first photo of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.  Take the jump to check it out.

While it's not the full body shot that fanboys everywhere were hoping for, it does give us an idea of what Nolan is going for.  Catwoman's specs are updated and high tech, which goes along with the world Nolan has created in the past two movies.  In this world, a latex outfit would be very out of place so he's going for more of a realistic/high quality cat burglar look.  I dig it.

UPDATE:

IDontLikeYouInThatWay has gotten some full body pics of Anne's stunt-double on the Bat-pod.  This shows off a little more of the outfit and I have to say.....I still approve.  Though the chin strap does make me giggle and I have no idea why.

This is probably why they released the picture of Anne so early in the morning.  As we stated earlier, with all the set pics going around the interwebs they wanted to beat everyone to the punch.

What say you?

  1. I'm going to assume that Anne's doesn't have a chinstrap. lol

By the way, I sort of love how into it the SWAT guy in the background is in the last two. STOP RESISTING. *punch*

  3. I think her "disguise" kind of sucks if all it covers are her eyes.

  4. Remember, Superman's disguise is a suit and a pair of glasses.

  5. Ooh, shiny... no prize? Oh well.

To be fair, if you're a good cat burglar you don't need much of a disguise. You just have to be good at getting away.
