A couple of weeks ago Sony announced that they were putting together a "Welcome Back" program for PlayStation Network users. This was their way of patting you on the back and making sure there were no hard feelings.
That program is now called "Customer Appreciation", and today Sony released some of the details. It includes free game downloads for PlayStation and PSP users, free movie rentals and free virtual items for PlayStation Home.
Before you get too excited, don't expect to be able to download L.A. Noire for free. There are only a few free games and movies available.
Here is the current information direct from Sony:
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
Personally, I do not use the PlayStation Network. I'm an XBOX Live dude, so I don't have anything invested in what they are offering. What say you PSN users? Does this make up for having your personal information compromised?
