'The Walking Dead' creator wants Charlie Sheen for Season 2

This interesting week in the supernova that is Charlie Sheen culminated with him creating his own online talk show called 'Sheen's Korner'.  At one point he had over 100,000 people watching while his entourage clapped and laughed on cue while believing that everyone was tuned in to watch them too.  But if you thought that was the most interesting part of it all, you thought wrong.

'The Walking Dead' creator Robert Kirkman told The Hollywood Reporter that he really wants Charlie Sheen to appear in Season 2 of the hit show.  On Friday night at The Paley Center, Kirkman told them:
"Charlie call us, we we will totally make that happen."
"We'll do whatever you want."
What the what?!?  Yes, you read that right.  Showing that he wants Sheen on for anything at all, he said:
"Actually he could play a car for all I care," he adds. "He's awesome."
This is the first time in the past couple of weeks that someone, that isn't a news show, has spoken of their interest to have Charlie on.  So far Sheen hasn't responded to the request, but I really have no doubts that he won't turn this down.  It's a hit show, he gets to tell people he's still "winning", and it shows that the spectacle that has been his life in the past couple of weeks hasn't turned off everyone in Hollywood.

What say you?  Would it upset you to see Charlie Sheen in 'The Walking Dead'?  Is this a lame attempt at stunt casting?

  1. Unless Sheen appears as himself in an homage to Bill Murray, or as Random Dead Guy #7, I have no interest.

In all seriousness, I have some major misgivings about Season 2; the creator layed-off/fired all the writers from the first season, so I just hope it has the same spark.
