Their story also mentions the possible casting of Juno Temple (Kaboom) as a "street smart Gotham girl." Hmmmm...what do you think? Harley Quinn, Baby Doll? Neither, she'll just be an extra?
This news comes a few days after another web site ran with a fake Warner Brothers press release sent to them saying Gordon-Levitt had been cast. To be fair, I've jumped the gun on stories before as well, and was even called out by the director on it. (Here)
What say you?

To be honest, I'd be disappointed if they ignored Harley's origin story- with her being the shrink who fell for Joker and went headfirst into a life of crime. Only because it's an origin that fits in Nolan's more realistic Gotham.
ReplyDeleteEven though we're in a Robin-less Gotham, and Babs is still a baby... would it be too out there for her to be Stephanie Brown- originally Spoiler, then Robin and now she's Batgirl? It might be a nice zag from what everyone's expecting- and interesting since Steph started out as the daughter of a criminal.
...I never liked Baby Doll in B:TAS, but maybe Nolan could make me like her. If the casting is true, it just seems a bit villain heavy if she's also a villain.
I don't know why I didn't think of this- but with Selina Kyle in the picture... Holly Robinson (the DC char, not she of Hangin' with Mr Cooper) wouldn't be out of the question, since she served as Catwoman's sidekick (and was the Catwoman for awhile, too).
