Nominees for the first annual 'The Comedy Awards'


"The Comedy Awards" is the first time that one ceremony honoring comedy has been created.  They awards cover everything from television and movies, to stand up and sketch.  The nominees were selected by a Board of Directors that truly covers many areas of humor and comedy.  Just some of the people on the board include: Conan O'Brian, Billy Crystal, Seth MacFarlane, Don Rickles, Jon Stewart, George Schlatter, Lily Tomlin and Steven Cobert.  

"The Comedy Awards" will air on April 10 on several different networks at the same time.  According to the press releasee, those are Comedy Central, SPIKE TV, VH1, CMT, TV Land, Nick at Night and LOGO.
