CONFIRMED: New 'Assassins Creed' game coming this year

Kotaku is reporting that Ubisoft confirmed the release of a new Assassin's Creed game this year. During an investors phone call, Yves Guillemot let them know that a new game would be coming out in 2011 and that more details would be out in May.

A press release on the company website mentions the strong performance of of their titles (Just Dance 2 and Michael Jackson: The Experience), Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood sold 6.5 million copies in 2010.

  1. I haven't even scratched the surface of Brotherhood, yet. I agree with ReevesReel; '30s/'40s in Sicily/Chicago would be awesome. Also looking forward to LA Noir, which has a similar feel; set in 1947 LA, with an incredible design.
