Before The Fame: Paul Rudd

Several weeks ago on Kevin Pollak's Chat Show, Paul Rudd was the guest.  On this particular episode Kevin got him to open up about his career choices before becoming a popular actor.  Paul went in to great length about this including the portion where he confessed to having been a quirky bat mitzvah DJ for quite a while.  Well this amused Kevin, and us, to no end.  Kevin mentioned that there had to be video somewhere of Paul doing this to which Paul then realized that he had opened a door he probably wanted to stay closed.

Then today we got this video:

Paul Rudd: Bat Mitzvah DJ from Jewish Forward on Vimeo.

There he is in all his 90's haircut, Dock Martin wearing glory.  But as I watched the video I realized the time code on the Hi8 tape is pretty long which means that there is more footage to this.  In his story telling during KPCS, he talked about his signature performance piece during his sets.  This was when he would put the 13 year old birthday girl in a chair and essentially give her a lap dance.  A very awkward and humorous lap dance.

What say you?  Are there any jobs from your past that you hope no one else remembers and you try daily to forget?
