Comic-Con: Day 4 programming

Okay, Comic-Con's last schedule is out.  Sunday's at Comic-Con have traditionally been Family Day and this year is no different.   Let's take a look at some highlights shall we?  Well too bad because we're going to anyway.

10:00-11:00 Smallville Screening and Q&A— Comic-Con favorite Smallville returns for its last visit to Comic-Con in advance of the show's 10th and final season, as showrunners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson join star/executive producer Tom Welling and series stars Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, and Justin Hartley to talk about the year ahead, answer fan questions, and give an exclusive sneak peek at clips from the final season. From Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink in association with Warner Bros. Television, Smallville airs Fridays at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. Smallville: The Complete Ninth Season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 7. Ballroom 20

10:30-11:30 ABC's Castle: Nathan Fillion & Stana Katic— Up close and personal with actors Nathan Fillion (Firefly) and Stana Katic (Quantum of Solace), creator Andrew Marlowe (Air Force One), and executive producers Rob Bowman (X-Files) and Laurie Zaks. BE sure to be on hand for the Q&A session, filled with exclusive videos and fun surprises. Whether you're a fan of the show or a fan of Nathan Fillion, you won't want to miss this panel! Room 6BCF 

11:15-12:15 Supernatural Screening and Q&A— Cast members, executive producers Sera Gamble (Eyes) and Ben Edlund (Angel), and creator/executive producerEric Kripke (Boogeyman) present an exclusive sneak peek at footage from the highly anticipated sixth season of Supernatural, which moves to a new day, Fridays at 9pm ET/PT on The CW this fall. The panel will answer questions from the audience and also show a portion of the special features from the upcoming Supernatural: The Complete Fifth Season DVD and Blu-ray release, in stores September 7. Supernatural is produced by Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. 12:30-1:30 Phineas and Ferb Hey Ferb, I know what we're  gonna  do today! Go to the Phineas and Ferb panel! Creators Dan Povenmire (Family Guy) and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh (Rocko's Modern Life) along with the voice of Phineas,Vincent Martella (Everybody Hates Chris), the voice of Jeremy,Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana), and other surprise cast members will be on hand to answer your questions and show you new and exciting content from Disney Channel and Disney XD's hit animated series, including a sneak peek of a special Phineas and Ferb Comic-Con episode guest-starring Seth MacFarlane and Kevin Smith, plus much much more! 12:30-1:15 American Dad See a never-before-seen episode of American Dad in various stages of animation followed by a Q&A session with producers Seth MacFarlaneMike Barker, and Matt Weitzman and cast members Dee Bradley Baker,Scott Grimes, and Rachael MacFarlaneBallroom 20 

12:45-1:45 Marvel: Spider-Man— The hunt has begun and the moment that everyone's been clamoring about is almost here! How much more can everyone's favorite web-slinger take? You've got questions and these people have answers! Dan Slott (Amazing Spider-Man), Marvel's talent liaison C. B. Cebulski, and Amazing Spider-Man assistant editor Tom Brennan talk about what's on the horizon for Peter Parker and just what is "Origin of the Species"? There's only one way to find out, True Believers -- attend this panel! Room 6A 

1:30-2:30 Glee One year after the cast and creators of Glee came to Comic-Con for the first time, the show has exploded with blockbuster ratings, number-one albums and a sold-out concert tour. 3:00-4:00 Phineas & Ferb Special— Be among the first to watch the World Premier of Disney XD's Phineas and Ferb"Summer Belongs to You," a one-hour special event. Phineas and Ferb plan to make the most of the longest day of the year by traveling around the world in one day "chasing the sun." 4:00-5:00 Buffy the Musical Let's end this show with a bang! The powers that be behind Fandom Charities Inc. and present a screening of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode "Once More With Feeling" as Comic-Con 2010's big closing event! Many say this is the finest, funniest, most ingenious episode ever to come out of the Buffy-verse. But remember, the best part of the show is up to you! This episode was made for talkin' -- back, that is -- and singing and shouting and dancing in the aisles, with or without your dry cleaning! Audience participation: it isn't just forRocky Horror and mob riots anymore. Ballroom 20

There are not of major highlights this day, but that's not to say that some of these panels are not going to be popular ones.  But we can now confirm that there will be NO Twilight panel at Comic-Con this year.  (Do you hear that?  That's massive applause from around the world.)  I won't get into it too much, but we'll cover it on the POPcast later this week.    

We won't only be covering panels, we'll be all around the convention meeting and interviewing people.  And The POP Patrol will also be invading downtown San Diego on evenings to see where the parties are at.
