'Funny' Money

'Funny People', the latest movie from director Judd Apatow that stars Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen came in at number one this past weekend with an estimated total of $23.4 million. Last week's number one movie, 'G-Force', dropped to #3 and 'Harry Potter' consistently held on to the number #2 spot bringing its total to $255 million. This coming week brings a movie that will be closely watched by studios and faithful fanboys, 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra'. Some early reviews are starting to come out and it generally seems to be positive. The questions is will it translate to large box office numbers? Paramount is hoping that the fanboy response will rival or match the numbers of 'Transformers'. What say you? Do you think that 'G.I. Joe' has the same chance for success or will it peak well and end quickly?
