Broadway's 'Spider-Man' Musical Reveals It's Villains. Vows To Make Nerds Cry.

Oh Broadway.  Why do you mock us so?  First you announce that a Spider-Man musical is being created.  Many nerds wept and mocked.  Then we were told that Julie Taymor was directing with Bono and The Edge writing the music.  Suddenly a glimmer of hope looked to possibly shine down.  THEN you have a closed discussion of the show with ticket brokers and group sales agents and reveal  the villains that will be appearing in the show.  Many nerds died.  Here is the report from the New York Post:

As Spider-Man, Peter clashes with a parade of Marvel villains -- Green Goblin, Carnage, Electro, Rhino, Swarm and Lizard.

Berger and Taymor have invented a new baddie for the show -- Swiss Miss, whose costume, designed by Oscar winner Eiko Ishioka ("Bram Stoker's Dracula"), consists of rotating knives and swirling corkscrews.

Really?  Swiss Miss?  Why do you hate us?  Did you learn nothing from 'Spider-Man Rocks!'?  Will you only be satisfied once every nerd on this planet has taken their own life?  Perhaps that was your plan all along!  Hmmmm... Well played Broadway.  Well played, but I'm on to you.  Take the jump over the New York Post to read the full story.  Bring tissues..and a friend.
