Sarah Silverman Saved...But Not By Jesus!

Comedy Central just announced that The Sarah Silverman Program will be returning to Comedy Central.  This had looked to be in doubt over the past week as rumors began circulating that contract negotiations were not looking bueno. According to the press release:
The third season of "The Sarah Silverman Program" will premiere 10 episodes in the first quarter of 2010.
Along with this, the show will also get second showings on LOGO after it airs on Comedy Central.  In commenting about the news, Sarah Silverman said, "Yay!"

  1. There's no mention in the press release as to if the show will continue at it's old budget, or with the cuts Viacom was making. Unless the LOGO airings come with extra cash for Sarah's pocket, to make up for the lack of funding?

  2. Yeah. I'm guessing that word will get out on the specifics sometime soon. But we have to wait until 2010 for new episodes.
