'Hard Rock' Theme Park Finds A Buyer. Public Says, "There's A Hard Rock Theme Park?"

Yes Virginia, there is/was a Hard Rock theme park.  With lands themed to certain decades of rock, and attractions licensed to use the names and music of music legends ( including a Led Zepplin themed roller coaster), attendance was dismal.  After opening summer of '08 in Myrtle Beach, the park quickly went bankrupt and closed it's doors in September of '08.  Since then it has desperately been trying to find a buyer for the park, and was even looking to sell off attractions one by one.

Good news has been coming out over the past couple of days.  It seems that 2 buyers have generated serious commitment into purchasing the park.  Although there is no word as to whether or not the name brand will remain.  Since January all mention of the park was removed from the corporate website.  This would definitely be great news for all the workers that were laid off and the overall tourist business for Myrtle Beach.  You can find out more about all of this at Myrtle Beach Online.
